Tuscan Render is a final top coat (Decorative finish)
Tools/Machinery Required: Hawk & Steel trowel, Polystyrene float, plastic floats, straight edge, sponge, power mixer, masking tapes, drop sheeting.
- Mix one (1) 18kg bag of Tuscan Render to @ 3.5 -4.5litres of clean water using a power mixer
- Add the Dry Mix Tuscan Render to water steadily while mixing with a power stirrer until the consistency is smooth and lump free.
- Allow the mix to stand for 5 minutes, remix before use or before adjusting consistency if required.
- Apply skim-coat using a steel trowel, with each being no less than 2mm and up to 4mm thick.
- Once the coat has firmed slightly, rub up with a sponge or polystyrene float to produce an even, uniform and smooth surface.
- Do not apply Tuscan Render over expansion joints
